This picture was taken at Managwhai Heads. I love the rock formations on this beach. The colouring on the rocks make it look like they are rusting ! When you visit some beaches you want unspoilt sunsets and clear blue skies, but I think this place is more interesting when cloudy. The more cloud, the better ! It adds to the mood. Mangawhai Heads is on the East coast of the North Island. North of Orewa.

Mangawhai Heads
