This picture was taken in Wellington, New Zealand. The cable car ride is a must while in the city ! It takes you from the central shopping district (close to Lambton Quay) to the Wellington Botanic Gardens. Construction started in 1899 and was completed in February of 1902. It took 3 teams of people working around the clock to complete the job. This photograph was taken from the top of the track while in the Botanic Gardens. Superb views of the city can be witnessed from this spot.

Wellington / Cable Car
